Union workers provided skilled labor for the 14th annual event. About 200 volunteers helped renovate five homes and one senior care facility during Christmas in May. The weather ended up being cooperative, other than a few sprinkles and the chilly temperatures.
A Let’s Go Fishing Chapter has started up in Chaska. The program provides the opportunity for Active Older Adults, ages 55+, to get out on the area lakes fishing. Learn more and meet volunteers, sit on the pontoon and sign up to go fishing -- from 10 a.m. to noon today (May 11) at The Lodge at the Chaska Community Center, 1661 Park Ridge Drive.
