According to an alert from the Chaska Police, a water main ruptured at Village Road south of Pioneer Trail earlier today. There was flooding in the area, and the roadway has been compromised necessitating the closure of Village Road between Geske Road and Pioneer Trail for an "undetermined length of time." Chaska Utilities and Public Works personnel are on scene making repairs.

District 112 and Positive Connections bus company have been notified, as the bus routes in the area must be adjusted. Travel between Hundertmark Road and Pioneer Trail must be via Highway 41 or Bavaria Road until Village Road is repaired.
