Here's more info from this week's police newsletter:

Police responded to the intersection of County Road 61 and Hickory Street in reference to an automobile crash with a utility pole. A vehicle had left the road and struck a pole, causing serious injuries to a front seat passenger. The passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle. The male driver ran from the accident scene prior to the arrival of the police. The male sustained serious injuries after he jumped over a chain link fence and fell approximately twenty feet into the flood control system. With assistance from the Chaska Fire Department, the male was taken out of the flood control system. He and the passenger were transported to a hospital. The driver was charged with DWI, criminal vehicular operation causing injury, underage drinking and driving, driving after suspension, possession of a fictitious identification card, fleeing police on foot, minor consumption of alcohol, minor possession of alcohol, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and no proof of vehicle insurance.

This could make America's Dumbest Criminal's.

This kid must have really been loaded to not realize he was climbing over the fence only be falling into the Flood Channel.

In reality though, we should all Pray for these two kids and be thankful we have great Police, Fire and other Emergency Rescue personnel.
