Now that the Minnesota River floodwaters have receded far enough to give access to Athletic Park, Public Works employees are gearing up to begin cleaning up. A muddy parking lot gives way to silt covered tunnels, bathrooms and bleachers. Public Works Superintendent Tim Wiebe said that the first four rows of the grandstand was under water when the river crested. The high water also left its mark on the side of the building, making it easy to identify how this flood ranks with the four highest floods of the last 100 years. (Photo by Mollee Francisco)
