There is also a chance to purchase $10 in Dome Dollars to use at the concession stand for $8.
The Chaska Cubs did not make the state amateur baseball tournament this season, for the first season in the past nine.
But that's not stopping some Cubbies from playing in the state tournament anyway.
Two Cub draftees finished games on the mound in the first round of the Class B state tourney at Gaylord and Arlington.
Cub pitcher Brad Keenan tossed a 1-2-3 ninth inning for Prior Lake, as the Jays skipped past Plato 7-1 on Friday at Arlington.
Chaska's football team takes on Jefferson at home in the varsity season-opener on Thursday, Sept. 3.
The game will cap a day of celebration for Chaska and Hawk fans everywhere.
Students will provide brown-bag breakfasts to residents around town and mini pep fests will take place around the city at noon.
A carnival with games and food booths is scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at CHS, followed by the Hawks' season-opener against Bloomington Jefferson at 7 p.m.
The festivities don't stop there, as a bonfire and fireworks will follow the game.
Gone are the gallery ropes. Gone are the crowds. Gone is the Goodyear blimp. Yes, the 2009 PGA Championship is over.
For almost a week, Chaska was the center of the golf universe as Hazeltine National Golf Club played host to many of the world’s best golf players, all in pursuit of the famed Wanamaker Trophy.
In the end, 37-year-old South Korean Y.E. Yang came from behind to take down Tiger Woods – golf’s most recognizable player – and become the first Asian-born man to claim the trophy.
Not many people get the chance to retire before they finish high school. But last week, at the end of the Chaska Cubs’ 2009 baseball season, Chaska High School juniors Andrew Seberson and Travis Allard hung up their bat boy jerseys.
The 16-year-olds have been bat boys for the Cubs for years, but knew the time was finally approaching to call it quits.
“We’re getting to the age where we could almost play,” said Seberson, who started with the Cubs at the tender age of 7.

The fees students pay to participate in athletics and activities at Chaska and Chanhassen High Schools are going up this year, most between 80 and 160 percent, a direct result of the actions the district has taken to balance its budget.
“Cost savings are required for athletics and activities because of the [District 112] budget situation,” said Chaska High School athletic director Troy Stein. “It’s unfortunate it has to trickle down to our student athletes.”
The Chaska Cubs hosted the state amateur baseball tournament in 1998 and again last year.
In the decade in between, the Cubs have missed playing in the state tourney only once.
This year, the Cubs are in unfortunately unfamiliar territory again.
Shakopee whalloped Chaska 7-1 on Friday at Schleper Field to nail down the final state-tournament spot in the Section 3B playoffs.
Shakopee scored in the second inning, again in the fourth, and added five more in an error-plagued eighth frame.
Golf fans at the 2009 PGA Championship will be watching the skies on Sunday as much as the action on the course.
Rain is in the forecast, and there are contingency plans abound.
