Gravy & Stuffing.

Yet, this year will be different.
My daughter is home from Michigan and she is in charge and preparing a Total Gluten Free Thanksgiving Meal, including Lefse.

No, it does not tatse any different that food with Gluten, but with Celiac's, she cannot have any Gluten.

Don't ask me, I’m just the Dad.

I think it is the fact that it is made on a Grill that has not had any Gluten on it. No pan's or Utensils that may have trace amounts on Gluten either. Very sensitive/picky diet cooking/baking standards and procedures.

Thank goodness my wife has more patience with (my daughter) her step-daughter than I have when it comes to these things.

I believe it involves one large package of cherry Jello which you make as directed, then stirring in a can of cherry pie filling and a can of Coke before putting it in the fridge to set. It sounds weird and admittedly, I didn't try it for most of my youth, but when I did I regretted all the time I wasted not enjoying it.
