Yet, this year will be different.
My daughter is home from Michigan and she is in charge and preparing a Total Gluten Free Thanksgiving Meal, including Lefse.
No, it does not tatse any different that food with Gluten, but with Celiac's, she cannot have any Gluten.

I think it is the fact that it is made on a Grill that has not had any Gluten on it. No pan's or Utensils that may have trace amounts on Gluten either. Very sensitive/picky diet cooking/baking standards and procedures.
Thank goodness my wife has more patience with (my daughter) her step-daughter than I have when it comes to these things.

Back to page topI believe it involves one large package of cherry Jello which you make as directed, then stirring in a can of cherry pie filling and a can of Coke before putting it in the fridge to set. It sounds weird and admittedly, I didn't try it for most of my youth, but when I did I regretted all the time I wasted not enjoying it.
