Waste Management Buys Evergreen?

Waste management sent to me last week what looks like a contract to announce that Evergreen will no longer be our trash hauler.
Has anyone else received this notice?
I for one am extremely dissapointed if this is the case. Waste Management was charging me around $110.00 for three months of service.
When I switched to Evergreen my cost went to $55.00 every 4 months a huge savings.
Waste Management states in their letter that my costs will not rise for 12 months.
What happens then, back to $110.00 every three months?
