Chaska Mayoral Debates > Special Election

Does anyone know when the Mayoral Debates will be held. The League of Women Voters generally has one debate and last year The Lodge put one on.

The more information we have on candidates positions the better and hopefully there will be several debates before the special election January 19th, 2010.

Mayoral Debate Set

I found out that the Mayoral Debate will be January 7th put on by the Eastern Carver County League of Women's voters.

There will also be a debate in December held at The Lodge and Chaska High School will sponsor a debate for the 18 year old voters at the high school.

So a total of three debates this should give us a clear picture of the who the best candidate will be to lead the City.

The debate for the League of women voters is on the 12th. I called the City and it is not the 7th.

Also I heard that the High School Debate is on December 1st.

Not sure when the debate at the Lodge will be held I beleive it is in December. I will try to find out.

This is great to have three different venues to be able to ask questions and fully understand where the Mayoral candidates stand.

I am sure it is grueling for them but this is what it is all about.

Mayoral Debates Update

Here is a list of debates for the Chaska Mayoral Special Election.

December 1st 11:00am Chaska High School for the High School Government Students

December 2nd 12:00pm The Lodge at the Community Center Open to the public

January 12th 7:00pm League of Women Voters at the Chaska City Hall Council Chambers open to the public

Mayoral Debate this Week

The Lodge at the Community Center will host a debate forum for the Chaska Mayoral Candidates this Thursday December 17th at 10:00am.
The debate will be held in The Lodge and is open to the Public

The Mayoral forum that was held at Chaska High School on December 1st is now on Chaska Public television at 8am, 5pm and 10pm everyday.
