I truly believe that before you can get your body right, you have to get your mind right. The mind governs all. Unfortunately, we're not taught in school how to use our mind for our benefit, or even what the mind actually is for that matter. If you want to lose weight, burn fat, tone up, get more fit, become healthier and/or create a damn-sexy body that looks great naked this is a subject you must understand.
Well, we’re just over half-way through 2009; can you believe it?! Today, I’m going to give you my mid-year review on the fitness industry and share 3 biggest trends that we’re seeing.
Sadly, it appears as though the fitness industry as a whole has again failed to produce any significant results on a broad scale to effectively reverse the scary obesity epidemic that is plaguing our society. More specifically, the sickening fact that American adults keep getting fatter, more lethargic, and less healthy has mirrored the unabated deterioration in the health and fitness of our youth population.
However, on a positive note, we have seen some growing fitness trends that will provide the long-term answers to solve this ever-growing problem:

There’s always time for a 10 – 15 minute workout. Unfortunately, most people don’t think they can get an effective workout in that short period of time. Oh, quite the contrary my friend.

Things that we don't expect come up in life. Unfortunately, we often look at the "******" as obstacles instead of challenges. We let it control our thinking and ultimately our results. Everybody who wants any kind of success, especially in fitness, needs to read that chapter. Really, you should just get the whole bood, especially while it's on sale - yes, that was a shameless plug :-) Seriously though, I put a lot into it and I really believe you'll love it.
Anyway, back to the "******." I don't know about you, but I certainly have a lot of different stresses that come up in life, and this week is no different - actually, there are more things piled up on me (personally and professionally) right now than I've had in a long time. So what! Good!! The bigger the challenge the bigger the reward. You see it's not the things in life that come up that define you, it's how you deal with them that does. Now, I'm certainly not up on some high-horse saying I can deal with anything without stress or worry. Trust me, I have my moments like everyone. But, I've learned that worrying is like paying interest on a debt that you may never have! Just do the best you can with what you have, and ALWAYS have a picture of success in your mind. And, getting all fired up and pissed off, what good does that really do?
