The City of Chaska and Carver County issued their latest flood updates this morning:
On the Minnesota River at Chaska the reading this morning was 27.20ft with a flood stage of 18ft. The Chaska location indicates an approximate 1.60ft DECLINE in the last 72 hours.
On the Minnesota River at Jordan, the reading this morning was 29.02 ft which indicates a decline of 1.87 feet since Friday morning. Flood stage is 25 ft.

The Chaska location indicates an approximate .61ft DECLINE in the last 24 hours.
On the Minnesota River at Jordan, the gauge has been working intermittently since 11:00AM Wednesday. The last reading was 30.89 ft which indicates a gradual decline.
After rising nearly 12 feet above flood stage, the Minnesota River has crested in Chaska.
At about 1 p.m., Tuesday, the river crested at 29.90 feet, dropping to 29.41 feet Thursday morning.
That’s good news for commuters anxious to resume their regular routes across the river.
It’s one for the record books.
According to a city of Chaska report issued this morning, 2010 joins the top five Minnesota River high-water marks.
1. April 12, 1965: 34.25
2. June 25, 1993: 32.78
3. April 19, 2001: 32.27
4. April 14, 1997: 31.74
5. March 24, 2010: 29.90
