![]() SheriffCologne man faces felony drug chargesJuly 8, 2008 - 2:42pm — Mark OlsonTravis Franklin Juno, 23, of Cologne, was recently arrested on felony drug charges. The investigation was conducted by agents of the Southwest Metro Drug Task Force including Carver County Sheriff’s Office deputies, according to a press release from Sheriff Bud Olson. On June 27, officers stopped Juno in Chaska. Juno was allegedly in possession of over one ounce of powder cocaine, eight grams of methamphetamine, 18 grams of marijuana and one tablet of suspected ecstasy, a digital scale and $759 in U.S. currency, according to the press release. UPDATE: Missing Watertown man found deadJune 25, 2008 - 8:30am — Mark OlsonThe body of Richard Allen Johnson, a 59-year-old Watertown man who was reported missing after he hadn’t been seen for three days, was located north of Watertown Tuesday night, according to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.. The Sheriff’s Office began a large scale search for Johnson early on June 24 near Watertown. His body was found later that day at 7:45 p.m. in the Crow River not too far from his residence, said Robert Van Den Broeke, Carver County Sheriff Information Officer. A car crashed into a house in Mayer on Friday morning.The Carver County Sheriff’s Office received the call at 10:55 a.m., May 9, according to a Carver County Sheriff’s Office press release. Deputies responded to the scene along with Mayer Fire Rescue and Ridgeview Ambulance. They found a 2005 Lincoln car had struck a residence at 209 Blue Jay Avenue. Lindeen was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of second degree assault for the shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 1, the press release stated. A woman was shot in Watertown on May 1, according to a press release from Carver County Sheriff Bud Olson. At 6:21 a.m., the Carver County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call of a shooting at a residence located in the 13000 block of Hwy 25, north of Watertown in Carver County. Responding deputies learned that an adult male relative had come to the home early this morning where there was a dispute and struggle over a .22 caliber rifle, the release stated. On March 25, deputies responded to 401 Broadway Avenue North in the city of Carver to check the welfare of an adult female. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found two men at the home who were allegedly in possession of illegal drugs. |
