Walking through downtown Carver, one can’t help but take note of all of the National Register of Historic Places plaques adoring most of the homes and buildings.
Block upon block, visitors and residents alike are reminded of the pioneering people that put Carver on the map. And many of the same names that once were associated with general stores, grain elevators and banks can also be found at Mount Hope Cemetery, just north of downtown on Mount Hope Road.
