Almost halfway between Norwood Young America and Cologne, along Highway 212, lies a dairy-lovers’ paradise.
This year that paradise, Bongards’ Creameries, is celebrating a century of operation.
The Lodge celebrated its first year of service Tuesday afternoon. Hundreds came out to enjoy the beautiful afternoon and the sounds of Dale Dahmen and the Beats. (Photos by Mollee Francisco)

Myrtle Anderson was welcomed with a surprise on Tuesday – 100 roses, one for every year of her life. Anderson was born on April 15, 1908. The crew at Auburn Manor, an assisted living facility in downtown Chaska where Anderson lives, gave her the roses, as well as 10 balloons to celebrate.
