Travis Franklin Juno, 23, of Cologne, was recently arrested on felony drug charges.
The investigation was conducted by agents of the Southwest Metro Drug Task Force including Carver County Sheriff’s Office deputies, according to a press release from Sheriff Bud Olson.
On June 27, officers stopped Juno in Chaska. Juno was allegedly in possession of over one ounce of powder cocaine, eight grams of methamphetamine, 18 grams of marijuana and one tablet of suspected ecstasy, a digital scale and $759 in U.S. currency, according to the press release.
Juno was subsequently arrested for felony drug sale and possession. He was charged in Carver County District Court with first-degree sale and possession of a controlled substance on June 30. The charge is punishable by up to 86 months in prison, the release stated.
On July 8, Juno was also charged with third-degree possession of controlled substance stemming from an Oct. 24, 2007 incident that occurred at 105 Louis Street West in Cologne and at the Island View Golf Course parking lot in Waconia. During that investigation, Juno allegedly possessed 32 tablets of suspected ecstasy, over three grams suspected powder cocaine and 4.5 grams marijuana.
Juno has previously been convicted of felony drug charges in both October 2004 and August 2005, according to the Sheriff’s Office press release.
