This year, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Auxiliary Garden Tours, offered Tuesday, July 15, & Wednesday, July 16, will feature four distinct and stunning private gardens in Wayzata, Eden Prairie, Chaska and Chanhassen.
The tour destinations include a spectacular lake estate with a formal classical French garden, plus three other one-of-a-kind glorious garden retreats in the west metro suburbs. The garden tours are led by knowledgeable guides on luxurious air-conditioned motor coaches and include a private outdoor lunch, accompanied by live harp music, on the Morgan Terrace of the Snyder Building. (Tour-only option available.) As an added bonus, participants can tour a fifth garden – the Arboretum – for free!
Tours depart the Arboretum every half hour between 8 a.m. and noon on July 15 and between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on July 16. The tour itself lasts three hours. Cost for the tour and lunch is $45 (tour only is $30). For information, call 952-443-1400, ext. 7052. Space is limited.
Pick up a reservation form at the Arboretum’s Oswald Visitor Center or download a form from our website at www.arboretum.umn.edu [1]. Or call 952-443-1400, ext. 7052, to have a form mailed to you. A portion of the ticket cost is tax-deductible, as proceeds benefit the Arboretum.
