City council roundup for May 5

The Chaska City Council discussed the following items at its May 5 meeting. For more detailed information on some of these stories, see this week's print edition of the Herald.

Fire Department Officers approved: The council approved three leadership positions for the Chaska Volunteer Fire Department.

Lyman Boulevard: The council approved Phase 1 of the Lyman Boulevard Improvements Project near the future Chanhassen High School.

Five-year goals: The council selected five priority goals to pursue in the next five years.

Bavaria Road: Discussion ensued on whether or not to pursue a realignment of Bavaria Road at Hundertmark Road.
