The Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) station located at 418 Pine Street in Chaska will close on April 25 for a remodeling project that is expected to last about six months, according to a Department of Public Safety press release.
Nearby exam stations at Hutchinson, Glencoe, Eagan, Plymouth and Anoka will serve customers who need road tests while the Chaska station is closed. Knowledge (written) exams are also available at the Midtown station in Minneapolis.
DVS recommends making an appointment for a road test. Appointments may be scheduled online at www.mndriveinfo.org [1] or by calling (651) 284-1000. Written tests are available on a walk-in basis up to 45 minutes prior to closing.
To find the exam station nearest you, visit the DVS Web site at www.mndriveinfo.org [2] and select “Office Locations” or call (651) 297-2005.
