Carver County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Alan Hostutler, 41, of Bloomington and Herbert Wellington Carman, 49, of Eden Prairie, for drug offenses, according to a press release from Carver County Sheriff Bud Olson.
On March 25, deputies responded to 401 Broadway Avenue North in the city of Carver to check the welfare of an adult female.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found two men at the home who were allegedly in possession of illegal drugs.
Hostutler was arrested for possession of approximately 2.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Carman was arrested for possession of suspected crack cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia, according to the press release.
Both men were charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Carver County jail.
Hostutler was release on $500 cash bail on March 26 and Carman was released on $250 cash bail on March 27.
Cologne
On March 25 deputies stopped Mathias Russell Kreuser, 31, of Cologne for a traffic offense in the city of Cologne. They subsequently arrested him for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Kreuser was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the press release. He was then transported to the Carver County Jail.
Kreuser was released on $200 cash bail on March 26.
Mayer
Michael Leroy Spiering, 34, and Jennifer Ann Spiering, 34 of Mayer were arrested on felony drug charges and possession of a short-barreled shotgun, according to a Carver County Sheriff’s Office press release.The investigation was conducted by the Southwest Metro Drug Task Force, including Carver County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
On March 25, a narcotics search warrant was executed at 309 Ash Avenue North in Mayer. Agents searched the home and allegedly located a small amount marijuana, digital scale, drug paraphernalia, trace amount of methamphetamine along with a methamphetamine pipe and a short-barreled shotgun, the release stated.
On March 27, Michael Spiering and Jennifer Spiering were charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of a short-barreled shotgun, both which are felony-level crimes, the release stated.
Michael and Jennifer Spiering were released from custody on March 27 after each posted $500 cash bail.
