Today marks five years since the war in Iraq begin.

Is it just me or does it seem like a strange thing to be recognizing the anniversary of?

There are a number of related events in the Twin Cities today including a candlelight vigil in Eden Prairie at 7:30 p.m. at Singletree Lane and Flying Cloud Drive (Hwy. 212).

Another vigil will be held at 5 p.m. at Lake Street and Marshall Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis today.

At noon, there will be a ceremony in the rotunda of the state capitol building in St. Paul.
