Chaska's girls basketball team beat Bloomington Kennedy 44-42 on Friday night at St. olaf College to win the Section 2-4A championship and secure a spot in the state Class 4A Tournament.

The Hawks start the state quarterfinals at noon on Wednesday, March 12 against Osseo at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
