The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum [1] has begun offering free admission on Thursdays.

Free admission is granted to anyone every Thursday from now through April 24, 2008.

According to a press release, the Arboretum will also stay open until 8 p.m. Nov. 29-Dec. 20 for shopping, dining and holiday musical performances.

The Arboretum is located on Highway 5 just west of Highway 41.
