What a stormy night last night! Officially Chaska received 0.28" of rain yesterday. After a high temperature of 91 degrees on Wednesday, storms rolled through our area in the evening. I had hail the size of quarters at my house for just a brief moment, and several more minutes of nickel to dime-sized hail, but I have heard no reports of any damage in my neighborhood. Parts of the metro received golf ball to baseball-sized hail on Wednesday. How about you - did you receive large hail or suffer any damage from last nights storms?
What will today bring - is there more more severe weather in our future? The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of heavy thunderstorms again Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned to your favorite local media outlet for current information!
