He took the image en route, reporting: "I was traveling in the passenger seat of our van, going 60 mph down a county road in rural Iowa when I captured these photos. I love the deep colors and tractor and trees in silhouette."

Back to page topWhat a beautiful photo. The sunrises and sunsets this time of year are unbelievable. It also makes me a little sorry for the farmers who are still out in the field. It's been an incredibly late harvest with farmers forced to dry much of their corn. Let's hope the snow holds off until everything is out of the ground.
