The Chaska metro 11AAA baseball team went undefeated in the Eden Prairie Invitational this past weekend. On a sunny Mother's Day afternoon, the team defeated Burnsville 5-3 in the championship game for the first-place title. This tournament qualifies the team for the MBT and Gopher State tournaments. Players (and moms) include, front row from left: Noah Hollen (with mom Jonie), Peyton Sanders (Jill), Cole Kirchoff (Becky), Colby Murphy (Sue), Nicholaus Smith (CeCe) and Derek Annett (Leslie). Back row: Garett Glieden (Sandy), Jack Mattson (Kris), Joey Witthus (Denise), Evan Fischer (Cheryl), Justin Arnold (Brenda) and Jimmy Kelly (Terri). The squad is coached by Mike Mattson, Steve Smith and Mike Arnold.
