The Chaska Cubs amateur baseball team had its fourth game in eight days wiped out, as Thursday's home clash with Green Isle was rained out.

The Cubs had their Wednesday game with the Austin Greyhounds cancelled, as the Hawks took on Eden Prairie in the Section 2-3A championship.

The Hawks had games at Shakopee and at Victoria rained out on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

When Chaska plays, it plays very well. The Cubs are 9-2 on the season after a 9-2 win over Waconia on Sunday afternoon and a 9-5 thumping at Shakopee on Sunday evening.

The Cubs host Prior Lake on Friday at Athletic Park. Game time is 7:30 p.m., weather permitting. Chaska then plays at Victoria, 6 p.m. Sunday.
