The Carver County Copsicles, made up of 17 members of the Carver County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Eden Prairie Plunge on March 15 at Round Lake. The event, sponsored by the Eden Prairie Police Department, raised over $39,000 for the Special Olympics. The Carver County group raised $3,820. The first one in the water was Larry Atneosen (pictured) a captain in the Sheriff’s Reserves, who raised $1,500 for the event. Atneosen is an accountant, owner of Atneosen & Co. in downtown Chaska.
