District 112 and the cities of Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria are partnering to offer seasonal flu clinics in October.
The clinics will be staffed by the Minnesota Visiting Nurses Association (MVNA). At this point, the MVNA does not know if H1N1 vaccine will be available, according to a District 112 press release. If H1N1 vaccine is released it will be announced at www.district112.org.
The cost of the seasonal flu vaccination is $24.99. Most health plans cover the cost of flu shots. Bring an insurance card, cash or check with you to the clinic.Anyone age four and older is eligible to take advantage of the clinic. Residents do not need an appointment; walk-ins are welcome.
All of the clinics will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
