Holiday givingDecember 24, 2007 - 11:55amSona Schneck, Kathy Hogan and Kelly Hammerschmidt (left to right), with the Chaska Police Department, stand by an food donated to the CAP Agency food shelf. The Chaska Police Department acted as a drop-off point for the food, and also offered to pick up donated items at homes and businesses. “It gives me goose bumps,” said one visitor, dropping off food at the department on Monday morning. The department planned to deliver the food -- 631 pounds of food -- on Christmas Eve Day.
