Newly elected Jonathan board members announced

Newly elected Jonathan Board members were announced at the homeowner association board's March 25 meeting. According to information posted on the Jonathan Web site, the winners were: Jacqueline Bensman, Katie Tierney, and Sandra Rossol. The Public Accountant firm of Casey, Menden, Faust & Nelson, P.A. tallied the results of the mail-in vote.The candidates, and vote totals included: 1. Jacqueline Bensman: 676 2. Katie Tierney: 635 3. Sandra Rossol: 579 4. Jack P. McCauley: 320 5. Debbie Boe (incumbent): 268 6: David Rome: 227 The three elected candidates had run as a block, with their names printed on the same campaign materials and Web site. Tierney is a clover Ridge resident; Bensman in Neighborhood 8; and Rossol is from Autumn Woods.

The overwhelming support you received is indicative of the positive direction the vast majority of association members expect and wants the association to move towards. If your hard work and positive campaign are indicative of the direction the association is headed, we are in much better shape then we've been in the last 5 years.
Unfortunately, the actions of the board over the last 5 years have placed the association in a very difficult financial position. With reasonable, dedicated and responsible board members like yourselves and those appointed earlier this month, we can make Jonathan an attractive community again.
