Should marriage be gender-neutral in Minnesota?

Minnesotan Doug Benson recently proposed the Marriage and Family Protection Act to make marriage a gender-neutral proposition in Minnesota. It was introduced to the Minnesota legislature with 14 House sponsors and 5 Senate supporters. You can read more about it here.

Jeopardy game show seeks area contestants

Ahoy Jeopardy fans, the Herald just received this press release:

“The Jeopardy! Brain Bus and crew will be coming to the Mall of America (at the Sears Court) on March 7, 2008 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. to seek potential contestants for America's Favorite Quiz Show.”

On-air talent Jimmy McGuire and Sarah Whitcomb from the Jeopardy! Clue Crew will be at the event.

Chaska residents have big shoes to fill. Russ Schumacher, a 1997 CHS graduate won more than $300,000 on the show in 2003-04.
