New county attorney to be sworn in Sept. 14

The Carver County Board will appoint James W. Keeler, Jr. as the new Carver County Attorney, effective Sept. 14. Judge Michael Fahey, former Carver County Attorney and Keeler’s former employer, will perform the swearing in ceremony at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 14, in the County Board Room in the Carver County Government Center. The public is invited to attend this ceremony and to meet Keeler, who will serve as the county attorney until the next elected attorney assumes the role in January 2011.
