Generations of Chaskans might remember these orange steel trusses at Chaska Farm & Garden. They were once part of an A&W franchise.

Casimer and Hildred Lubansky established A&W Valley Drive-In in 1960 after they sold their popular Valley Ballroom. The ballroom, just across the Minnesota River, fell victim to the new 1960 Highway 41bridge.

Now the old A&W building, now used by Farm & Garden, will be torn down due to a city of Chaska redevelopment project.
