Knight recognized with President's Award

According to the latest newsletter from the Chaska Police Department, Police Chief Scott Knight was recently presented with the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association's (MCPA) President's Award. At the annual MCPA training conference April 21 – 24, in Duluth, President Mitch Weinzetl presented Chief Scott Knight with the award in "recognition of valuable contributions to the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) and to professional law enforcement." The award was given to Knight, who is a past president of the MCPA, for his work as Minnesota’s candidate for office of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and his nation-wide work on gun violence and officer safety issues.
