Humane Society hosts annual walk May 18

Carver-Scott Humane Society hosts its Walk to Unite Pets & People on Sunday, May 18 at Lions Park in Chaska. The “Walk to Unite” is CSHS’ largest fundraiser of the year, according to a press release. Activities include kids’ games, booths, contests, a silent auction, raffles, entertainment, and free lunch for all registered walkers. Grand prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals who raise the most money and incentive gifts are cumulative and available to all walkers at the $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 levels. People are encouraged to bring their pets to this event. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with the Walk starting at 1 p.m. and prizes awarded at 2:30 p.m. Participate by picking up a donation form at a local vet clinic; calling (952) 368-3553 to request a form; or downloading Walk information while visiting www.carverscotths.org.
