Lifeguard service at Lake Minnewashta and Lake Waconia beaches will start for the summer on June 13.

Lifeguards will be on duty seven days a week between the hours of noon at 6 p.m., weather permitting. Lifeguard services will end for the season on Aug. 9.

Lake Minnewashta Regional Park is located in Chanhassen on Highway 41 between Highway 5 and Highway 7. Lake Waconia Regional Park located at 8170 Paradise Lane, next to the Lakeside Ballroom and was redeveloped in the spring of 2004.

An annual or daily parking pass is required to enter the two parks
