Carver County Parks will produce maple syrup through March 27 at Baylor Regional Park, located 2-1/2 miles north of Norwood Young America on County Road 33.
A maple syrup open house is scheduled for Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. – noon, according to a press release. Interested groups and schools are welcome to observe the processing of maple syrup on weekdays between 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. by appointment. Free samples of maple syrup are available (as supplies allow).
The maple syrup program is offered free with paid daily parking or an annual parking permit. Group reservations are preferred.
