On Wednesday, April 16 from 12:00-1:00 p.m., community residents and business members are invited to hear about TreeHouse services for teens troubled by poor performance in school, depression, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, eating disorders, juvenile crime and violence, self mutilation, anger/rage, social alienation/bullying, and physical/verbal abuse in the Plymouth/Wayzata area. TreeHouse services for at-risk youth are integral to the success of our community.
In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness month, the Sexual Violence Center will hold its 3rd annual candlelight vigil at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 in Chaska's City Square Park.
The event is free and open to the public. Music will be provided by James Nash.

The Chaska Human Rights Commission will present a discussion on diversity issues facing our community that address poverty and economic diversity at the Chaska Community Center (1661 Park Ridge Drive - Community Room) on Thursday night.

First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights (1555 40th Ave. NE) will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 to benefit the Cline family of Chaska.
Colin and Ethan Cline were severely injured and their mother Bridget was killed in a cabin explosion last July. Proceeds from the event will go toward continued medical expenses for the family.
Tickets are $3 for ages 12 and under, $5 for adults or $15 per family.
