This is always a fun event,

This is always a fun event, and it is for a very good cause. So far it is looking like the ice will be thick enough to keep plans on track (several of the last few winters have featured temperatures so warm that poor ice conditions have caused last-minute changes in the contest format). Look out fish....I'm ready!

What is the problem with

What is the problem with Brandondale

I sold my house and Brandondale (GRACE) came to me with a list as long as my arm on things to fix. Some things were needed, but others were things that were that way when I moved in 5 years ago.

Some things are on MY house that they DO NOT own. Is this not bordering on illegal since all I do is rent the land?

Also how can they make me fix things that were there when I moved in 5 years ago. EXAMPLE: I have a spot by my sidewalk that never grows grass and I have tried every year, the grass is contaminated and will not grow they want it to grow!! should I contact the EPA as the ground is contaminated.

All help would be appreciated.

Disgusted in Brandondale

The free recycling event at

The free recycling event at the MOA ended up being "too popular" I guess, for it was cancelled mid-morning on Friday due to an over-whelming response. However MPC, the company that hosted the free electronics recycling event, has hinted that they may hold a similar event to coincide with Earth Day in April of 2008.

Meanwhile, for information on how and where to recycle your used electronics, simply contact your local (county) Environmental Services Department or Household Hazardous Waste program.
