My sister got married at the Como Lakeside Pavilion in St. Paul outside. With the pillars and lake view, it was very scenic. They had the reception on site. I thought it was a unique spot, and the couple's photos were pretty.

One place i always thought would be fun/interesting for a wedding/reception is the MN Zoo. i know they do offer it as a venue, but i don't know where they hold such events.

The Landscape Arboretum would be pretty, too. But, oh, so hot in July.

I am engaged. That's right, folks. Off the market. Spoken for. Betrothed.

I guess technically I should be saying we are engaged. After all, it's no longer all about me (a darn shame).

We have actually been engaged since October, but due to unforseen circumstances, have only just begun to plan for what we hope will be a July 2008 wedding.
