I don't understand why people are talking about the hidden "cross" in the ad.

Huckabee packs several religious phrases into a very short message. It’s not like he’s hiding his faith. So if it was a cross, or not, why would it matter?

Aren't subliminal messages meant to be covert?

The floating cross in the background was a good touch.
Doing the morning news rounds, he said it was the lighting crew that caused it, not him, so no, there was no hidden message.
Maybe.
But when he reviewed the commercial for his final okay, you can bet he thought it was a great idea!
As far as not being a political ad, any canidate that goes anywhere in public right now is a political act.
Give us break Mike, we're not morons.
