My friend used to have the LA cops beat and says that it is not uncommon for non-violent offenders to serve only 10 percent of their sentence. The crowding of the jail system there simply makes it impractical to keep people for their full sentence.

So with Paris back in jail to serve out the remainder of her sentence she is actually serving more time than most similarly-convicted would. Who ever thought Paris would be made an example of (other than of what NOT to do)?!?

She does have to wear one of those electronic ankle bracelets and we all know those are so not hot.

Sidenote: I saw a man wearing one of those at Lake Ann one time. I couldn't help but wonder when the police were going to realize he wasn't at home, but alas there was no bust while I was there.

After three "grueling" days in jail, Paris Hilton has gone home with an "unspecified medical condition," according to news reports.
