Fresh Start Life Group, Sheaves of Joy: Victory over personal crisis

Sheaves of Joy is one of several Fresh Start Life Groups, a ministry of Freshwater Community Church in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. All Fresh Start Life Groups are similar in format and guidelines which ensure that you will have a safe and productive meeting.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. - Psalm 126:6

Fresh Start Life Groups meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Transforming personal crisis into spiritual fruit.
Sheaves of Joy is a support group for people who desire to overcome past or present personal crisis and live a happier and healthier lifestyle. The name is based on Psalm 126:6 “He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.”

Our mission is to offer members support, fellowship, teaching, and discussion as we work through a series of resources that offer tools to help us overcome and have victory through the power of Jesus Christ.

Experiencing a significant personal crisis can become an overwhelming event and isolation only makes matters worse. For those in need of coping with current situations or moving beyond past experiences, Sheaves of Joy provides encouragement and a welcome support network throughout the healing and growth processes.

We will provide resources for attaining victory over personal crises such as: depression, low or confused self-worth, relational codependency and pessimistic cycles of thinking and/or behavior.
Through active participation in this group, confidentiality and prayer support, habitually negative thinking and living patterns can be shifted toward the positive, ultimately turning personal crisis into spiritual fruit.
