Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweeties – young and old – at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen.
On “Heart of the Arb” Day, Feb. 14, all visitors wearing red will receive a complimentary 2008 full-color Arboretum wall calendar in the Gift Store while supplies last.
Also, all visitors are invited to take advantage of these other highlights: an extra 10 percent off already half-priced Red Dot merchandise in the Arboretum Gift Store (with another 10% off for Arb members) and a free Valentine cookie in the Restaurant. On “Heart of the Arb” Day, Arboretum visitors also will have the opportunity enter a drawing for chances to win complimentary passes to an upcoming Arboretum event (this includes two passes to Easter Brunch, Mother’s Day Brunch, Father’s Day Brunch or Afternoon Tea or four passes to the Maple Syrup Pancake Breakfast).
Additional “Heart of the Arb” events include a Gourmet Valentine’s Dinner in the Arb Restaurant (call 612-624-7173 for pricing and reservations) and a “Foods of Love” cooking class featuring a multi-course meal of aphrodisiac foods with complementary wines ($45 per person for members/$55 non-members; call 952-443-1422 to register). Gate admission is free to the Arboretum every Thursday (including Valentine’s Day) through April 24.
