If you happened to be outside on Wednesday evening between 6:00 and 7:00 pm, you probably noticed that the sky looked rather threatening to our west and northwest - with vivid lightning along with some dark and ragged clouds. While no severe weather was reported from the storm, we did receive a welcome 0.39” of rain.
Seasonable temperatures are expected over the next week or two, with occasional chances for more precipitation. Rainfall is always needed this time of year, in order to assure adequate soil moisture before the ground freezes (which will occur within the next few months!).
