For the first time since it...

For the first time since it was planted several years ago, our Nanking Cherry seems to be preparing to offer us a bountiful harvest of cherries this summer. (We rescued this as a small shrub on a piece of property that was soon to be bulldozed to make room for new houses. It has taken a few years and some TLC, but it has now grown in very nicely!)

I may have to try making some jelly or something this year... Does anyone have a recipe to share, and advice on when/how to harvest the fruit?

I've got some green tomatoes already, and it looks like I will begin harvesting fresh beans any day now. The tomato numbers seem lower than in previous years, but the beans seem to be plentiful so far. How is your garden looking?
