I saw a sight outside my window on Sunday afternoon that surely hinted at the coming of winter - some BIG HEAVY snow flakes fell for a short time, and they looked kind of pretty. The snow didn't add up to much, since the air temperature was actually slightly above 32 degrees. However, we did end up receiving 0.16" of precipitation when it was all over.
For those of you who like winter, don't worry, for like it or not there is more winter on the way in the weeks and months to come!

Back to page topI was sitting in my basement in front of the fireplace watching TV when the snow started to fall. And I really love those big, fat kind of flakes (not like the little ice balls pelting my face the day before while I was at the dog park). I thought about rousting the dogs from their bed in front of the fireplace and taking them out to play, but I wasn't sure I wanted to get bundled up.
Then, my puppy saw the snow through the sliding-glass door and started barking at it. I opened the slider for her to get a closer look, but she barely stuck her nose over the threshold before she turned around and went back to her post in front of the fireplace.
Hopefully the change in weather won't put a damper on our potty-training efforts!
