It is now official, and what you suspected to be true was indeed the case: the weather during River City Days 2007 was cooler and more comfortable than last year. This year our daily high temperatures in Chaska were a comfortable 88, 88, and 87 degrees on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively, compared to a steamy 97, 95, and 100 degrees in 2006. In addition to the lower temperatures, gentle breezes helped to keep things comfortable during RCD this year, along with a lower relative humidity. One final bonus in 2007: our dry summer has helped to keep the numbers of mosquitoes much lower than normal, making it easier to enjoy a nice evening outside!
