The Herald recently received a call from Mike, who was innocently listening to the song "I've been everywhere"  and noticed the inclusion of our fine town of Chaska in the lyrics.

The song, written by Geoff Mack, and recorded by country star Hank Snow  (later by country star Johnny Cash), includes the line:

"Pittsburgh, Parkersburg, Gravellburg, Colorado, Ellensburg, Rexburg, Vicksburg, Eldorado, Larrimore, Atmore, Haverstraw, Chattanika, Chaska, Nebraska, Alaska, Opelika, Baraboo, Waterloo, Kalamazoo, Kansas City, Sioux City, Cedar City, Dodge City, what a pity …"
