Happy Leap Day!?

» Read similar stories filed under:

Feb. 29 -- a day that only comes around every four years.

So does this create havoc for anyone?

A newspaper I worked at once published a story on a woman who was 100 years old, but was born on Feb. 29 -- a date that had only came around 25 times in her lifetime.

Is anyone out there a Leap Year baby, condemned to only have one birthday every four years? What day do you usually celebrate it on -- Feb. 28 or March 1.

Leap Day is very special to me and my DH--we met on Leap Day 24 years ago. It was not love at first sight...which probably is a good thing. Anything I did and said after our initial meeting was better than the shallow, pretentious me he met on Leap Day.
Read my blog on www.victoriatownsquare.com "Embedded in the Suburbs Feb. 29" about his Valentine's Day present to me.
