It's the week of Dylan here in Minnesota.
The city of Hibbing, Bob Dylan’s hometown, will be the site of Dylan Days, from May 23 through Sunday, May 27.
According to Explore Minnesota, highlights include a welcome party, youth talent show, feature film showings of “Gotta Serve Somebody: The Gospel Songs of Bob Dylan,” a music jam, literary night with guest speaker Barton Sutter, a creative writing workshop, a singer/songwriter contest, a guided Dylan Bus Tour, Dylan Days Spiritual Breakfast, and a concert by folk singer Maria Muldaur, singer of the hit “Midnight at the Oasis.”

Is anyone from Carver County a Dylan fanatic or attending Dylan Days. Has anyone who grew up on the Iron Range have good Dylan tale? Spill.
He apparently has a home in the west metro? Has there ever been a confirmed Dylan sighting in Carver County?

Dylan gets a Pulitzer...

Bob Dylan was at the end of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize list as receiving a 'special citation.'
Dylan got the award for his "profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power," according to the Pulitzer Prize Board.
Maybe Bob should be able to write his own blurb.
Dylan has won an Oscar (it sits on his amp during shows), a Golden Globe, and collected seven Grammys after receiving the Lifetime Achievement Grammy.
Sci-fi writer Ray Bradbury and jazz saxophonist John Coltrane got Pulitzer citations last year.
Another jazzman, Thelonius Monk, and historian Edmund S. Morgan received citations in 2006.
